FAQ

How are parts quoted? What information is needed?

Provide: pump model (or nameplate photo) + part name + part code + material code + quantity, e.g. “6/4D-AH, impeller E4147, material A05, 2 pcs”. A photo of the old part also works — we verify the code against the parts book.

Are parts interchangeable between metal and rubber pumps?

The casing, cover and drive parts are shared, but wet-end parts are not: AHR / LR / MR pumps have rubber wet-end parts and require rubber impellers (147R), rubber throat bushes (017 / 018), front liners (017) and rear liners (036), etc.

What seal-water pressure and flow rate are required?

Gland packing requires seal water at pump discharge pressure plus 35 kPa (0.35 kg/cm²), with flow depending on frame size; expeller seals need no seal water, but require regular greasing via the casing grease cup, at about 5% extra power.

What are the lead times for complete pumps and wear parts?

Standard complete pumps: about 15-30 days; wear parts (impellers, liners, plates, sleeves, glands) are usually in stock and ship in 3-7 days; non-standard parts and complete casings take about 7-20 days.

How to choose between alloy and rubber wet-end parts?

For coarse, sharp-edged solids and strong impact, choose high-chrome A05/A07; for fine particles, high concentration or corrosive slurries, choose rubber R55 (type R pumps only); for abrasion plus corrosion, choose A49 wear- and acid-resistant material.
